Mirrors have historically been an enemy of mine.
For years, they were a place for criticism, overanalyzing, and reminders of everything I thought was wrong with me. There was even a period of time where I covered most of my mirrors because seeing my own reflection could send me spiraling.
But over the last six months, something has shifted.
Now, when I look in the mirror, I’m no longer trying to become someone other than the girl staring back at me. Instead, I use it as a way to express and enhance who I already am.
That’s why this sticker says:
“I never knew how to fully be myself — now I don’t know how to be any other way.”
And for the first time in a very long time, I actually enjoy my reflection — because now, when I look in the mirror, I finally see myself.
