Becoming Bouquet
The very first time I got out of the house alone with both of my kids was not that long ago. In fact, it was right around my daughter’s first birthday.
That day, our big outing was Costco.
I wasn’t even sure we’d buy anything — I just needed a “safe” place to go. Somewhere the kids could be loud, where no one would care if we needed to stop and regroup in the middle of an aisle.
But somehow, the trip ended up being wonderful.
We laughed, explored, snacked, wandered, and genuinely had such a good time together. And before leaving, I grabbed a bouquet of flowers that looked a lot like these.
Bright. Joyful. Growing. Becoming.
Later that day, when I placed them in a vase at home, I felt something I
hadn’t felt in a really long time: accomplishment.
Those flowers became more than an impulsive Costco purchase. They
symbolized a new chapter for me. A new confidence. A new state of
mind.
Proof that healing sometimes looks like tiny, ordinary moments that
quietly become extraordinary.
This is the Becoming Bouquet.
